Cobalt Coat & Printed Pants

Hey Loves,

I hope you had a chance to read the post before this one. I recently attended the Simply Stylist Fashion & Beauty Conference here in NY. And you all know that means I had to pull out my best look. Not only am I representing myself & ATGC. But more than likely I'm one of a FEW plus size bloggers. That's even more of a reason to show out. This look....like so many of my other looks, was very last minute. When I say last minute, I mean I bought the pants & top and hour before I had to head to the city. But let's check it out.

The one thing I knew I wanted to wear was this AMAZING Asymmetrical Jacket from Modamix. You should remember this jacket from my fall lookbook post I did for them. I wanted it to be a statement and I knew that what ever I wore, must compliment the coat.

Pants was one thing I knew I wanted to wear to the event. Normally a skirt or dress is the 1st thing I gravitate toward. But I am trying to step out of my comfort zone here. So I ran to Target to see what they may have had. I tried on these printed ankle pants in my Try On Video, and when I saw them again I knew they would be perfect. The print is bold but not overpowering. It actually compliments the coat. Two bold pieces don't have to compete.

When Lane Bryant sent me these stackable rings in the mail, I was kind lost on how to wear them. Asseccories is always a struggle for me, even though I love it. But I realize that I didn't have to wear all the rings on one finger. It works out for me.
