Fatkini Season

Hey Loves,
You know normally I never use the word Fatkini, but I thought it was so appropriate. I know it's freezing her in Jersey & in many parts of the US, and being 1/2 naked outside is the last thing on anyone's mind. But to me it is NEVER to early to talk about plus size swimwear. I will be doing my annual plus size swimwear round up. That seems to ALWAYS be a popular post for me so stay on the look out for that. But for this post I wanted to talk about how to get ready for fatkini season!
Find a great bathing suit that you love!
This swimsuit is from Monif C from her 2014 swim collection. I loved that is is SUPA bright!. I wore it with my forever 21 Kimono and was ready for a plus size beach meet up! This year I have purchased 4 new bathing suits that I'm so eager to wear.
Find your sex appeal!
The bottoms are basic black from Forever 21. The top however, I got from target. I love that it is a push swim top. I am a plus size girl but I don't have a very large bust line. I'm only a C cup, so I can fit into tops at stores like target. And I mean who doesn't love cheetah print right?
Just get out there & rock it!
The truth is, getting ready for bathing suit season really takes you just putting it on and going to the beach or pool. Having fun in the sun shouldn't be put on the back burner. Even if you're not at your goal weight or your ideal body, still enjoy the body & curves you have right now in this moment.

You look fabulous!! It's funny becuase I bought three bathing suits lasy year and didn't get to wear them. Oh, i wore one in a plus sized fashion show. But I didn't make it to the water. Are there actually plus size beach meet-ups? If so, can you list becuase I would love to attend one this summer. I enjoy your blog by the way. Blessings to you.
