Igigi - A Thick Girl's Closet

Igigi

Hey  Loves,

So I realized the 2 poses in this photo almost identical lol don't judge me. I'm excited for this post because I got a chance to review a couple pieces from one of my favorite brands; Igigi. I've seen a number of other plus size bloggers rockin' different pieces from Igigi, which means they as a brand have something for different type of people.

I decided to choose more office appropriate pieces since that is more realistic for me. Igigi does have some beautiful special occasion dresses, skirts, & tops so if that is your thing or you have a special event coming up, be sure to check out that section of their website.

Top & Skirt: Igigi| Shoes: Justfab| Necklace: Lane Bryant

I chose the Khloey top because of the peplum silhouette. It is very light, comfortable & flattering. My only qualm with this top is that it is not small bust friendly. Meaning it would fit & look much better on a girl with a fuller bust line. It was a bit baggy in the bust area on me.

The Olivia skirt is very basic, but a staple that I know I'll wear. It has an elastic waistband for comfort, and is made of ponte knit which means it will last you season after season.

Top & Pants: Igigi| Shoes: Lane Bryant

The Iris blouse I wanted simply because of the print. I thought the print was so fun & totally me. The shirt itself can be word tucked in or worn out like I did in this look, & how I wore this pass weekend with leggings. You can see it on my instagram here. My only problem with this top is that the arms are too short for me to wear full length so I do have to roll them up in order to wear this shirt.

I do have to say I LOVE how this Eden Pants fit me. They are comfortable around the waist. They aren't too low rise, and not bulky so they don't "poke through" shirts. The back pockets are simple so it doesn't draw too much attention to your backside, if you choose to tuck in your shirt.

All in all I am very happy with these pieces from Igigi. I chose each of these so that I can be able to switch them in & out of my wardrobe. One of my goals now is have more versatile items in my closet. Which look did you like the best.

xoxo
Shay
