So I am super late posting this but better late than never. I got this really great skirt from Target a couple weeks ago and it is absolute perfection. You know me a pop color always makes things better!

Neutral and Leopard

So in true Shainna Fashion, this whole outfit was put together as I was getting dressed this morning simply because I didn't want to wear the outfit I had on first lol. This seems to happen to me all the time, I have one outfit in mind, I put it on and it does nothing for me. Then I change to something different and it's like YES! lol but anywho, I woke up excited this morning and felt awesome and after the awesome Qristyl Frazier fashion show last night (which I'll post about very soon). This look is super simple just the way I like it. The black sheer tunic thing lol I found at goodwill a while back and never knew what to do with it. And then one night I had this great idea, and cut the sleeves off, and this is what I got! lol (please ignore the fact that my leggings clearly a level lol)

Outfit Details:
Top: gift from mom
Leggings and belt: Dots
Sheer vest: Goodwill
Wedges: Target
Bag: American Apparel

A Runway for Qristyl Frazier

Tuesday night I had the pleasure of attending a runway show featuring the designs for Ms. Qristyl Frazier. If you're not up on this woman, you really should be. She's all about dressing the curvy woman. And although the venue was entirely to small for the crowd that came out to support her the clothes and the models and the energy was fantastic!

It was an awesome (rather packed lol) night to celebrate Qristyl and all the hard work she is putting into her work. I can remember when she was on Project Runway and I was a true fan. Her designs have been featured in Jet Essence, she has showed on BET's Rip the Runway and she can only go up from there. Each one of her collections really offer great pieces for the working girl enjoys a night out with her girls or the hubby!

Jumpsuits, dresses and colors oh my...that's what I was thinking when the show took off. It was like the fabulousness (yes I just made that word up lol) would never end. But in all seriousness, I think the direction Qristyl is going with her designs is really breaking through so many barriers for plus size women. Because she is giving us another option to be fabulous and sexy.

Check out her website! Qristyl Frazier Designs

I love her use of colors and colorblocking. A lot of people think curvy women should shy away from being bold. but these designs beg to differ.

I need that purple jumpsuit...too sexy!

Talk about getting ready for the holidays...Christina and Chasity better wear those dresses.

Be sure to go over to Qristyl Frazier Designs, If you like what you see.

I also had the chance to meet some of my fave bloggers and other young women who are fabulous!!!!

The Hem of a Tulip

So another trend that I'm excited to try is the very regal and chic Tulip Hem. I'm loving the look of the dresses and the skirts. for  me much like the hi/low hems, it allows for the focus to be on yours legs. And is flattering for pretty much all body types because of the draping. So whether you're wearing it with flats or you favorite pair of pumps, the look will definitely speak for itself. It's great for the office for us trendy working girls, but can be flipped for a night on the town with the girls or with the boo!
